Is simply to be
Understood by their words
and their way of beauty

A poet's dream
Is to write their thought
And to show emotion
Of the life they're taught

Is to be untame
To explore the world
With their mind to blame

A poet's dream
Is like no other
It is not like yours or mine
Your sister or brother

A poet's dream
Is an unending desire
It makes them urge
With that everlasting fire

A poet's dream
Is not rude or mean
But it can make you think
Because it's the unseen

The best part of this
Is that it doesn't seem
To give away the thoughts
Of a poet's dream
